I saw Drive My Car last...Interesting synchronicity. I saw Drive My Car last night. It was not just an excellent movie, but it struck me as a first-rate adaptation of a piece of writing. I hadn't actually read the story it was adapting, but, having read a great deal of his stuff now (including Commendatore), it felt like precisely the sort of film Murakami would make.
