Fire The Workaholics

Fire the Workaholics

Judge people by how much they get done, not by how over-worked they seem to be.

Great find! It's always been my view that we "workers of the mind" are obligated not to engage in "soul-destroying labour". People who work too hard at anything ought to find something else to do. If you can't stop thinking about booze, you should stop drinking. If you can't stop thinking about a girl, you should do something about it (one way or the other). Why do people think not being able to stop thinking about work is a kind of ideal state that shows you've found the "right job"? It is, in fact, a symptom of a twisted relationship to something that may have real value.
