And your series of posts about how to dive into a project like the dissertation when you've never attempted anything of that scope has proven super helpful to me and my comrades as we undertake getting our prospectuses approved!
Sidenote: I thought of you and your work on Lorca as I recently began Nicole Krauss's new novel _Great House_ which features a desk rumored to have once been owned by Lorca.

of course, i meant "proven" ha!

And both proven and proved are legit past participles, though some prefer one over the other.
