Naturally, she was not happy. It will be extensive cleanup and expensive repair.
The worst thing is that I feel that this is a huge personal failure, even though I have gone up to the attic to do this more than 20 times over several years with no incident, twice a year for 15 years, with a few times that someone else was hired to do it.
