"invited"
We are being "invited" to do a diversity training. I suspect it will be mandatory. This by an administration that cannot retain a diverse faculty. Everyone just leaves. But I'm sure this training will fix that.
While driving today I was listening to NPR, I think an old Terry Gross interview, it was from 1990. A guy who had become famous for something, he was very nice. He was Black and talking about what it was like to live in Kansas as Black back in the day. Scary. You would most likely just leave, yes.
