OK I did not read it closely but I am tired of these calls to inter-disciplinarity and I am totally interdisciplinary -- Comp Lit, LAS.
Humanities are alive and well in real life, people like reading, art, etc., and have history questions, etc.
I am trying to figure out whether the university itself is ending, and whether we should welcome this. I tend to think not, although I know the institution has long been corrupt and so on.
