Spicer

NYRB books are publishing Spicer's After Lorca.  I wonder it they will review it?  The name of Jack Spicer has never appeared in the NYRB. They are now reviewing books that they themselves publish, so that would be interesting.  Maybe I should volunteer?

Probably. But this is a new publication, isn't that an old book?

Yes, of course, it from the 1950s. But NYTBR has never so much as mentioned Spicer in their pages.

Well, you'll have to do it. Lowghost and all of these things. I've ordered it. This is my fifth book this week and it is only Wednesday. I have to get rid of some. (So I got rid of a binder, and thus had to buy a sixth book.)

I wrote them, but I fear I got the generic email and not the ear of the person who actually assigns reviews. I guess the other thing to do would be the LA Review of Books. I went to grad school with Tom Lutz.

LA Review of Books would be cooler!
