A Chapter is Born

I now have another chapter on the poetics of cultural exceptionalism, modernity, and creative anachronism. It will take the section on Roland Barthes and the Grain of the Voice, along with the new section of the duende chapter, and be its own thing. These past four months since November have been among the most creative in my life, from a scholarly point of view, even though I am not writing anything I didn't already know. The creativity comes in putting everything together.
