An example

Here is an example of a paper engaging with the master discourse of Hispanism, by my friend Elena Delgado. You can get a pdf of it if you google "Elena Delgado Prozac" and click on the first or second link you get. You can see she cites Américo Castro, Subirats, Goytisolo, Sánchez Albornoz, along with Stuart Hall, Said, Zizek. The paper takes the position that Spain cannot be a normal country, cannot leave the "problem of Spain" behind. One reason is the challenge of other nationalisms, Catalan or Basque. Elena's book will be important because it is a major intervention in a major debate.
